NOTE FROM ANDY
Here’s another fresh batch of good news, curated for New Hampshire!
For any subscribers who missed this week’s New England newsletter, here are some updates:
Going forward, I plan to publish a New England newsletter every week, and then an additional newsletter focused on one state in New England on a rotating basis. Today we’ll do NH (as is tradition) and then next week we’ll begin with Maine! There will be slight overlap with the stories featured in the New England newsletter, but each newsletter has 15-20 stories, so the state level ones will have many unique stories not featured in the regional one.
I may do state level newsletters more frequently— this is an experiment to engage the New England audience outside NH. There are 723 of you now, would love to know what kinds of content resonate with you most!
You can opt in or out of which emails you’d like from us. If you’d only like to recieve the one covering NH, you can adjust that preference anytime here.
Last week I made new some new friends— AJ Kierstad and Jan Ziegler, check out their podcasts New England Take & It’s Freitag if you want to hear me chat about Granite Goodness with them. Tuesday I released my chat with NH Governor Kelly Ayotte.
Also STAY TUNED for an announcement of the first Granite Goodness live show.
IN THIS EDITION
New Hampshire invests in clean air and climate-smart farming, expands internet and bridges, and restores forests and trails. Research and education thrive with record NSF awards, cutting-edge robotics, and community colleges ranked top in the nation. Safer workplaces, outdoor recreation, and innovative housing policies strengthen the economy, while the state earns recognition as both the freest and least corrupt in America.
SPONSOR
A big thank you to my friend Jesse Lore and the team at Green Wave Electric Vehicles for sponsoring this newsletter.
I can’t speak more highly about Jesse. We first met when he emceed an event for NH Businesses for Social Responsibility— he was rapping in front of a room of 100 people. I thought to myself “who is this modern bard, with a love of electrification and hip hop?”
I think EV’s have all kinds of merits year round, but not everyone knows that the $4,000 used EV tax credit is ending this September. If you’re thinking of buying an electric vehicle sometime in the future, a good opportunity to do so is right now! Jesse is an incredible resource for anyone, who brings his values and personality to every part of his business at Green Wave. Plus, they plant 100 trees for every EV purchased. As Jesse puts it best:
“Save the planet with a really cool car at Green Wave.”
Learn more about Jesse and Green Wave on episode #40 of Granite Goodness.
And now please enjoy your regular dose of Granite Goodness : )
