LIVE SHOW! Local Podcasters Night
Announcing our second live show
Hello everyone! Happy New Year and welcome to the 74 new subscribers who have joined the Granite Goodness community since our last update.
There are now more than 1,200 of you, and my biggest goal in 2026 is simple: bringing all you great people together in real life.
In that spirit, we are kicking off the year by announcing our next live show, and turning the subscriber chat back on for anyone who is more active on substack.
A celebration of local podcasts
As some of you may know, Granite Goodness is just one among many amazing local shows. There is a fast growing scene!
Some shows are experienced. Some are brand new. Some are creative. Some are issues-focused. All of them are having an impact that is substantive and optimistic…granite and good!
To my delight, no one has brought them all together to celebrate what they are building.
UNTIL NOW!
Join us February 20 at 3S Artspace
We’ll be doing a two part live show featuring:

Jennifer Bakos, Host of Telltalks Northeast (Jenn is a GG alum!)
Marissa Emanuele + Emily Briand, Co-hosts of One Quick Thing
Troy Farkas, Executive Producer & Host of Seacoast Stories
Liz Canada, Host of New Hampshire Has Issues
If you want a feel for what our live shows are like, you can check out the recording and photos from our first one. It was a night to remember.

“Wait, aren’t these your competitors?”
…is what a cynic might say, glancing at our lineup.
To which I say:
1) That is not the New Hampshire way.
2) In all honesty, no, the only “competition” I am keen to destroy is the internet’s giant mountain of divisive / rage bait slop content, not other local creators who all add something valuable to state / regional discourse.
3) If you do not believe me, come watch us obliterate the darkness by lifting each other up, making you laugh, sharing spicy policy takes, highlighting incredible local creatives and businesses, reminding you how special the Seacoast is, and creating all manner of good vibes.
